Accessibility at mepcollc.com
EFFECTIVE SEPTEMBER 5, 2026Our commitment
MEPCO wants everyone — contractors, engineers, facility staff and the public — to be able to use mepcollc.com. We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, the standard referenced under the Americans with Disabilities Act.
What we have done
Every control, including the pump and trap selection tools, works from the keyboard, and the element in focus is always visible. Text meets a contrast ratio of at least 4.5:1 against its background. Images carry text alternatives; form fields are labelled and confirmations are announced in text. Pages use headings and landmarks so screen-reader users can move by structure.
Content reflows to a 320-pixel-wide screen without horizontal scrolling and can be enlarged to 200 percent. Nothing flashes, auto-plays or moves without a request. Every page has its own address, so the browser back button and bookmarks work as expected.
Known limitations
The interactive map is a visual aid; the same office information is provided as text beside it. Some legacy PDF manuals were scanned before tagging standards existed and may not read well in a screen reader — ask us and we will supply the content in another form. Third-party video and map services are governed by their own accessibility practices.

Technical information
