RC12 line extended with three new impeller trims

New trims fill the selection gap between RC09 and RC12 above 900 GPM. Curves and submittals are live in MEP-FLOW and the Tech specs library.

The RC12 close-coupled line now offers 10½″, 11″ and 11½″ impeller trims between the existing 9½″ minimum and 12½″ maximum. The additional trims close a gap engineers have been bridging with oversized motors or throttled discharge valves above 900 GPM.

Each trim is a full catalog selection: shutoff head, NPSHr and non-overloading motor size are published, and MEP-FLOW returns the trims automatically when a duty point falls in their range.

Existing RC12 casings accept the new impellers without machining, so installed pumps can be re-trimmed in the field when a system is rebalanced.

“Most of what we saw above 900 GPM was a 40-horsepower motor doing 25 horsepower of work.” APPLICATION ENGINEERING, GRAND RAPIDS

Submittal sheets and the revised Form 1622B are in the Tech specs library today. Printed curve books ship to reps in September.
